Hey, Boxer did get the second most votes in the 04 election and she was a write-in candidate, but really, I'll settle for anyone who's not a NeoCon nor a NeoLib.Oh, so you'll take Condi Rice, Mike Huckabee, or Haley Barbour? George Allen? How about Phil Breseden or Mike Easley?
All right, I know, it's Barbara Boxer or bust.
Darth Cheney, ROFL
Dude, the simple fact that that guy is not in jail and that 99% of Bush supporters truely have no idea of the crimes this guy has committed is insane.
Remember in bush's 1st year of presidency, Cheney played such a big role in the public eye, talked alot, did stuff, but even the idiots started to realize that this guy was really really weird (to say the least)
Now you don't see him or hear of him doing anything!
It's so funny. People are so blind.
Frist, DeLay, Newt and any of the republican frontrunners.
I like McCain though.
Into what category does Chuck Hagel fall?
Just out of curiosity...NBAdan and the rest of you that listed Gulianni...why?
1. I would think you guys have a settle candidate on the Republican side given the results of the last 2 elections...
2. IMO, He's a conservative in name only except for his foreign policy..
3. He's pro gay and pro abortion.
4. He's an East Coast Conservative so his idea of low taxes would be high to any Southern Pub...
5. He has an impeccable track record on cleaning up govermental corruption, something that seems to weigh heavily on the minds of most liberals...
6. He's not bound ideologically to any straight party platform..and he's got the balls to go against the grain.
7.. He's essentially the same candidate as Wesley Clark.
I am not saying I expect you guys to be giving him a ringing endorsement...I just don't understand why he is on your no list while Wesley Clark isn't.....since Wesley Clark is just as likely to have a take no from anyone foreign policy...
By the way...my no's are for everyone not named McCain, Clark or Guilianni.
Foreign Policiy is the reason...and the left might as well concede that issue if they want to have any shot at winning back the Whitehouse.
Control of the domestic agenda is all the American public is going to give you...and frankly if you guys would stop being horses asses about it and run a legitimate democratic candidate instead of extremeists, we could use some liberalism on our domestic front, and you would probably get the whitehouse back...but it will remain the less important front past the next election.
As always...I will vote for the candidate and not the party...because both parties can get whacked out.
And Hilary and Bill are nothing alike...
Hillary Clinton
Jeb Bush
John Edwards
John McCain
Those are the main four, with Hillary being the clear-cut number one. As a future doctor, I am very concerned about her socialized medicine plan. It simply won't work. Besides, she's socialist in other areas as well.
And please, not another Bush. Surely the Republican Party knows that they need new blood.
mccain is about the only person on my " yes" list, to be honest.
Yeah, but they get the taxed out of them for socialist (think what Hillary wants to do, but not as bad) health carePreferably england, at least they don't have a national debt caused by wars that help 1% of their respective population.
My mom's from England, and every time the relatives in England are talked to, it's constant ing about taxes. Their effective tax rate for all the classes is about 38%.
I would have to say that Rudy, Powell, and McCain are at the top of my "yes please" list, with Condi bringing up the rear.
No: Jeb Bush, Newt Gingrich, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, Cheney, Condi Rice, Powell, George Allen (I'm from Virginia), or really any other member of the religious right or neocons.
Yes please: John McCain, John Kerry, Hilliary Clinton, Barque O' Bama (sp?), Mark Warner, Ted Kennedy.
Maybe next time you post I'll take you seriously.
I'd vote for John McCain and Powell.
