After some 30 years of backcoss breeding, the American Chestnut Foundation has almost completed producing a hybridized blight resistant American Chestnut tree suitable for reforestation. So all hope isn't lost that things might go back to the way they are supposed to be.
Will take some time though. Alot of trees that have invaded their space will have to fall first.

Palin is an attention . She only gets attention because she's a MILF. If she was as fugly as say Pelosi or Hillary, no one would give a about her. I think that conservatives and Republicans wouldn't dig her that much if she was fugly.

Yeah the poll I saw was a CNN Gallup thing that said something like 72% of Republicans and 44% of independents would vote for her right now.

Rasmussen was just on the radio and said that 55% of Republicans and 35 or 40% of independents thought she would be fit to be president.
