    I can't think of a year the mavs were ever as good as the spurs. Refs and injuries are their only intangibles.

    Yeah, the problem is that that expiring contract belongs to..........Dampier.

    And when did Marion excel against the Spurs? The play for the Spurs was let Amare go off, turn Nash into a scorer, and shut Marion down. Didn't you wonder why Bowen was chasing Marion around instead of Nash for most of the playoffs?

    How many insecure Mavs fans do we have...wow...haven't seen this many threads about how "Dallas is better than San Antonio" since I've been on this board...you guys are getting as bad as some of the Laker fans...take a break for a minute...IMO, the Marion deal, if it's a done deal, isn't all that great for Dallas..
