What about Birdman? You don't think he's DPOY material?
No, he gets spectacular blocks, but his one on one post&perimeter defense is sub-par

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Camby. Birdman would be my darkhorse candidate.
    I like that sound good.

I want Wade to win. But i'm willing to bet they give it to Howard again. He's in useless on offense though so they gotta throw him a bone.

Howard will win it. Don't want to go off topic too much but speaking of Howard's offense, shocks me to see Orlando fans thinking he can average 25+

He's garbage on offense. People say Shaq is only good because he's big but Shaq has waaay more touch around the hoop. Throughout the Finals that er couldn't finish around the rim unless it was a dunk. He makes me super angry.

It's a crime that he didn't get one years ago when he earned it. But I think those days are gone, I don't think he's got a chance at this point in his career. It's really the only missing piece on his resume. I know he would have liked the Gold Medal, but he deserved the DPOY a couple of seasons.

The voters of this award never seem to actually watch NBA games, so they just go for stats and look at who's got the most blocks/steals. If this award was legitimate, Duncan would've won it at least twice.

    Artest.

Finally has two anchors defending the paint for him, something he was missing in SAC and Houston as Yao is a terrible pick and roll defender. His offense will be marginalized by virtue of that many offensive options on floor which will allow him to focus on defense completely every game.

Ron wants a ring. That's all he's talking about. He'll do what it takes to win one especially if Phil, Odom, and Kobe tell him too. The league should be scared. Very afraid.

Silly goose. Anyone who signs with the Lakers is automatically healed of all injuries. They also will play the best they have ever played and will make no mistakes.

Yeah it's not like Artest has ever won a DPOY before and or was 5-7 in voting last year.

The only laughable thing will be San Antonio's perimeter defense next season
