Time for me to hit the reverse jinxage..............Its not going to rain at all, I guarantee it and book it!!!
Nope-off 1604 blanco and Huebner, just a few drops, nothing to write home about. Maybe there's still hope. It is dark outside.
Time for me to hit the reverse jinxage..............Its not going to rain at all, I guarantee it and book it!!!
Went outside to feel the winds.....have a feeling it won't rain a drop here. FML
LOL
Looking at the radar it's like there is a force field around San Antonio...It literally split and went on both sides of us when it hit the county line.
I know WTF??? Is there a Independence day space ship hovering over the city?
Rain!!!![]()

Just bad timing. They ended up losing a lot of their inflow about 40 miles out. Storms only live so long when there's not much energy in the atmosphere. Be glad we got plenty of rain on the recharge zone and temps were down. Also, there is that area of rain heading in as well.
Well, the good news is that the ranchito is in the northwest tip of Atascosa county and it looks like it is about to get pounded...
It's done that 4-5 times on well developed lines of solid radar yellow this summer.
[Shhh. Don't tell the weather gods, but there's another small line developing quickly behind it. Keep your fingers crossed people]
I keep getting excited when I hear the rumbling overhead ... but then remember I work right behind the freaking airport.

From the radar, it appears I got two things at my house........JACK !![]()
Yeah - and actually those areas need the rain way more than SA proper does. We here need more rain over the recharge zone but the ranchers who can't feed their cows are the ones who really need the rain.
Man...that northern piece that split off and went almost due east couldn't have missed me by more than a mile. Second string looks to be breaking up, too. Move along. Nothing to see here.
Yea, my father-in-law needs the rain for the cows.![]()
lol so do i. right off nakoma. a thunderstorm isn't such a good thing for us![]()
Hmmmmmmmmmm..............now it looks like that upper most part of the rain is kinda moving closer..........still may get some rain at my house................1604 and Bandera area.
lol, looking at the radar, it looks like its starting to reform right on the other side of San Antonio. What a crock of !
We got some rain here enough to wet my car but that is about it but still looks dark so I'm hopeful.
Okay, now the rain is moving in..............thank GOD!!!!
The reverse Jinx works again!!!
It remains dark and breezy here in Stone Oak. About a dozen small raindrops![]()
haha, well, we do live in a desert people gotta remember that![]()
No we don't.
I used live in Tucson...and San Antonio, you are no Tucson.
It's raining again on my side of town along with thunder and lightning. And my dog's tail is down, so that's a good sign!
poor puppy...
I don't know if it will rain on my poor, dead grass or not (Live Oak) ... but it sure is nice and cool outside for a very welcome relief.![]()
