I'll be honest...I have a feeling T-Mac is going to be the comeback player of the year this year.
Is There Even A Comparison? When TMac Is healthy He is A Beast. but He does need to get out of the 1st Round of the Playoffs!

Agreed, How Many times Has Arenas Knees been Operated on???
Too many, that's for sure.
Hahaha, he used to be my favorite player in the league. Now look at him.
Anyways, I think some team desperate for scoring will sign AI during the middle of the season. T-Mac will come back for sure too. They both have a lot to prove, and they can disprove these critics.
Not sure how this works, but IF T-mac returns to his 75%-90% of his old self, would he contend for MIP?
Nope. He still averaged over 15 points per game last year. His numbers won't sky rocket or anything like that. More like 07-08 T-mac, which is still great.
T-Mac's health is an issue. With Yao out and him being in a contract year (assuming he does not get injured again) he will be valuable for the Rockets. He should be fine carrying his team this season and I'm quite sure he will have some very impressive games.
Iversons problem is his at ude. He will not find a team where he can start and be the star (because he does not want to be on a losing team) and he does not want to come off the bench. He would be a perfect fit for a borderline contending team in a Jason Terry type of role. If he is willing to accept it - he gets the edge over T-Mac, but I doubt he does.
