    I've seen it done before, and it's never the same after coming out of the fridge or freezer. Must be bread full of nasty crap if it can be done and be the same or better when it comes out.

    I could see how someone might do that, however we shop weekly and nothing ever gets a chance go to bad. I could see how a loaf of bread might last a single person a few weeks and freezing it might be a good option.

    I don't freeze it, I just put it in the fridge - lasts about a week longer then and once you take it out it takes little time to go back to room temp.

    I buy from Costco & freeze bread only because we buy enough for 2 weeks (4 loaves). We shop every 2 weeks when I get paid. Sure, we'll stop by the store to get 1 or 2 items when we really want something, but shopping every 2 weeks keeps us on budget.
