Well Im going to be biased because Soundgarden was one of my favorite bands, if not my favorite growing up. From Temple of the Dog to early soundgarden (louder than love, badmotorfinger) to one of the best in Superunknown, he has been a beast. And I agree his solo albums have been dissapointing but to say the first audioslave cd is not legit is a crime-what you are, like a stone, i am the highway, and SHADOW of the SUN. I think he's still got some good left in him-he's just about experimenting now-and unfortunately i dont think soundgarden will come back because he's said numerous times that there's really no reason. He feels they accomplished everything they could have and he wants to leave that era where it is and he (a little y) feels that that soundgarden stage was a great moment in rock history (i agree tho). Last i heard Kim thayil ran a cinnabon in Seattle somehwere, ROFL.
What I'd like to see is Eddie and Chris get back together and do another Temple of the Dog album---id probably my pants. As for the poll this would be more fair of a poll if it was EV vs CC, because I've had numerous debates about that and really it usually is about half and half, maybe a little more cornell...but very close. Not to knock SW because I love STPs first 3 or so albums. I just can't put him into cornells level.
