I really enjoy watching the Spur vs Laker games! When Shaq was traded they were horrible and the games sucked, but now the rivalry and RESPECT is back! I live here in the heart of Laker town and have more reasons then most to hate the LAKERS..People hate because they are GOOD !

I do believe Phil Jackson is a lucky bas and MJ is better then Kobe! I used to HATE chicago because of MJ...

I actually liked the Lakers when I was a kid. They had Chamberlain, West, Hairston and the lot. Chamberlain had his issues but he mellowed by the time he went to LA. Under Bill Sharman the team had allot of class. That is the key word, "class".

The Lakers of today show very little class or respect for the game and it just got worse with the addition of Artest. Fans are fans, but what I could do without is the Laker fan that tries to justify that having a lack of character has some kind of purpose in this world.

The media always starts NBA talks about the Lakers even though they just became a great team again less than two years ago after about 3 years of suck.

Thats pretty much how I feel about the Laker since '96 when they acquired Shaq and Kobe. It seems once they were acquired that the arrogance from both of those guys trickled down to the roleplayers Dfish,Fox,Horry, etc and today you got scrubs like Vuja ,Walton acting real y. They wouldn't be real hateable if their superstar wasn't an arrogant prick. On top of that under the Jackson-Kobe-Shaq era they have always been grade A sore losers and winners.

Lakers = Arrogant, Overrated, & Soft.
As individual players the only guy I really hate is Kobe, I'm indifferent to the others.
