its no fun obsessing about countries huh?
i noticed YOU manumania, didnt decide to move to and learn about zaire and become a fan of the kinsasha fc, why dont YOU post on any sudanese message boards?
its no fun obsessing about countries huh?
Agreed it IS easy to be cynical of athletic achievements because of a "few" dirtbags. My contention is that they are the "few" who got caught. Many fish escape the nets, and knowing how these drugs work, i can tell you that it is EASY to avoid detection, if there is any kind of testing going at all. The drug cheats have a huge advantage over the system just based on the pharmacology of the drugs in question, nevermind the funding available to the athlete compared to the people who have to do the testing.
I'm not trying to pick a fight, but my question to you is, do YOU believe Bolt is clean?
it's quite hard to believe any sprinter, bike rider, swimmer or MLB slugger is clean.
I do not.
I contend that Bolt is clean.
He's held the record for his age group since he was what 15 years old? This isn't a case like Ben Johnson where the guy is kind of fast and then all of sudden progresses out of nowhere. Bolt has consistently been fast as he got older. Couple that with the ability to have a good start with that stride length and well...at 1 point in the race, the math shows that man ran 30 miles per hour.
Jamaica's population is less than half the population of the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex.
Jamaicans are not their own racial group.
Bolt doesn't win because he has great form or gets off to good starts. He runs 30 miles an hour and passes people on the way to winning by gigantic margins.
If everybody cheats, Bolt's still a cheater.
You must not be in San Antonio. It has not rained here in a while and you can't tell the difference between the grass and dirt...![]()

Innocent until proven guilty.
Regina Jacobs,
just hilarious to hear US fans ing about Bolt being doped when half the US sportmen are without a doubt, even in NBA.
and after many years of US domination of the sprint, now that the jamaican are succesful, they start to suspect them taking drugs
same that when you hear about Bolt being too y and arrogant when he's always funny after many years of american athletes very disrespectful and aggressive on the stadium, before and after the race.
and for Tony, i think there are many players faster than him on a race. but as long as changing direction with the ball in his hands, he's the best currently and one of the best penetrator ever.
This is a +1. Americans are not number 1 at everything.
5 year old football players are already juicing here in the good old USA. what you talkin bout??
oh, BTW TP ties Lebronze
The reason no one was linking Gay's name to doping on this message board or anywhere in the U.S. media is because very few people actually give a about sprinting unless it happens three years from now. He's making waves because of this absurd time and the fact is, no one knows definitively whether Bolt is clean or not.
yes yes poor crybaby americans are losing sleep at night because a jamacian is dominating our beloved pastime of 100m sprinting in the euro indoor championships
I don't understand why some people think it's ridiculous that LeBron could be faster than Tony, especially with how the article and poll phrased the question. Who could challenge Bolt in the 100 m sprint? Not who is faster on the court or with the basketball. In a dead sprint for 100 meters. Baseline to baseline, a basketball court is (I believe) less than one-third the distance. There's a reason modern sprinters are much more muscular, with more of a blend of speed AND power. There's strength, power, and explosion required, not just pure speed. It makes plenty of sense that LeBron would be near the top of NBA players who would be fastest in a 100 m dash. I just don't know why Dwyane Wade wouldn't be in the discussion.
Damn.
And i agree with Jamstone about LeBron.
It'll all work out in the end.
They should just allow all of these athletes to juice up. As spectators, we as a human race will get to see the potential of the human species. Athletes who participate will be getting paid millions for compensation.
After 50 or so years, the science and technology will grow to a point where they increase the safety of altering the human body and said drugs can be given to normal people.
We will all live to 150 and be able to outrun cheetahs.
You know why you didn't hear a peep about Gay winning at the Worlds? The simple answer is because nobody cared. People only care about the Olympics. If Bolt had dominated the Worlds, no one would care.
But because he dominated the Olympics, everyone took notice. And I'm not surprised he smashed his own world record. If you remember, in the Olympics he slowed up at the end to celebrate his victory, and still broke the record.
But in that race if he ran through to the end, he probably would have set the record then that he did now.
Voted! Go TP
oh that's brilliant reasoning there. There are hundreds of countries who's histories I've yet to learn about. Some interest me more than others. What the is your point?
Incidentally, I know more European history than I know American... does that debunk your "obsession with America" bull now?
You know, it doesn't surprise me you liken curiosity with obsession. It goes a long way to explain why you are such a monumental imbecile about practically everything. Then again, simply being an imbecile might just be your obsession.
Which would prompt a reasonable person (or anyone not being a butthurt bag) to give him the benefit of the doubt until its proven that he is not, in fact, clean. Otherwise, why even bother having the contests in the first place.
my point is america is badass and thats why you or yall came here
i cant blame you america is the stuff
if we were all starving in dirt floor huts and making 10 cents a month, you wouldnt have such a boner for us
countries dont really interest you
hey mook, newsflash, I don't live in the US. As for the rest, like I said, imbecile.
