Such an amazingly stupid show. It's too bad too because the idea in general is a decent one.
Imagine ten repos, just a guess but out of those ten I'd bet:
4 Never even know their car was taken
3 Just give up the keys
2 Get somewhat upset but in the end give up the ride
1 Gets totally pissed and is TV worthy.
And in reality the number of "tv worthy" repossessions are probably even lower than that.
So, great idea, let's make a fake show but make it as realistic as possible so we can continuously put out good shows, instead of having so many hours of video that could put you to sleep.
Instead they get that guy with the sharpie eyebrows (J/K) and make a stupid, totally over the top show.
What a wasted opportunity.
Operation Repo is fake. It's all scripted and acted out events, apparently based on real ones. As soon as I found that out I couldn't take the show seriously anymore because I knew it was all just an act.
I'm liking Southern Fried Sting a lot more
