I had the idea to go greet the plane coming back from the DET/NYK/IND fiasco r/t (am not "believer", I'm a do-er), but, as for today, it seems that, in general, nobody, even insiders like the Ellises, can learn the plane's ETA.
I bought a box-load of serious fireworks at New Year's in antcipation of June. Portions could be liberated for exceptional occasions, like was done for the W @PHX (I set some off next to the GTG place), and last night. Too many Coor Lights kept me at home last night, and my hands off explosives.

When I say I never take down, means they don't do up and down for occasions, but are up 24x7x365. Weather had beat up the earlier wooden flag poles and plastic flag pole holders. One pole went banana on me, and one pole support cracked, so last week I s ed out for cast-aluminum supports and fiber glass poles.
I had another one, smaller with lots of colors, which was the 03 championship banner, but it faded so badly it was ugly and "disprectful".
