Shaquille Oneal. Not only is Cleveland paying 20 million, but the Suns are paying just as much for nobody just to get him off their books. He's killing the cap of TWO teams right now.

If the Suns would have just kept Marion, they could have let his contract expire and they would be paying nothing for nothing right now (instead of 20 million for nothing).
Indeed. Shaq, his ego and his over-inflated contract, have been a cap-killer for at least 2 seasons now. He should have been #2 on the list.

Arenas, we'll see if he's injury prone first
He should be on the list mainly because he's NOT a max player. Of course, he thinks he is. If there was any indication that the Blizzards made a mistake in bidding against themselves and giving Arenas such a bad contract, look no further than the fact that they sought offers to trade him during the very first year of the deal!

They have the wrong ONeal at #1. Jermaine Oneal's contract isn't a cap killer, it's a cap savior.
Huh? They both have a year left, but Jermaine's contract is almost $3 million more when he's not even half the player Shaq is on his last legs. I'd pay Shaq $30 million before I'd pay Jermaine's completely worthless ass $23 million. Even in his prime Jermaine O'Neal was nothing special; I'll never understand him getting third in MVP voting in a year he shot 43%.
