Well you seem to know more than this wild card manu vato,his friends,time warner,and Google. What I don't get is why they would resort to pulling out "your signal is being jammed" card if he can just connect directly to the modem w/o using the wireless.
and eliminate that theory. Further more why wouldn't this wild card manu vato post the download speeds of his friends PC and his PC so we can see the results?
And why would anyone tell him DSL is not available when all you need is a phone line, where does this vato live, the south pole?
I think they were probably talking about something like EMI somehow interfering with the signal before it even gets to his house.
He's just got a problem with his reverse signal, a good way to check is to see if your cable still works fine but on demand won't.
Maybe he doesn't have any friends he can ask, not everyone is as friendly as mouse.
I still don't get DSL where I live.

Well it's been working since I posted on tuesday morning, but I know it's going to happen again and it's most likely this coming Monday which it has been doing for the past 2 months more or less...Another thing is that my neighbor has cancer and I think she gets treatment of some sort right at her house and at this point I'm open to believe anything could be interfering maybe even a machine they may have.
So really this is just about you having a slow day now and then like everyone else has and all this time you really didn't need any help?

I SERIOUSLY doubt it's a virus. I'm not going to say it's definitely not, but I don't get the feel that it's a virus.
Sigh. I'll get crucified for suggesting, but if you formatted one computer you would DEFINITELY eliminate the problem of whether it's a virus or not, unless it's all the way into your BIOS. Then you could find out if it's exclusively a hardware problem.
Sounds like hardware though, since it's on multiple computers.

Just a suggestion... throw out everything manufactured by Belkin... tried their wireless receiver and had endless issues with it. Once I switched to another receiver everything's been fine since then.
