You'd get my vote, but between the lefties who want government in control of your wallet and righties who want government in control of what happens in your bedroom I doubt there's enough people out there who would truly support a fiscal conservative/social moderate.

I think the problem is a lack of party. If a party was formed that advocates being fiscal conservative and social moderate there would be a great deal of support. THe problem is getting to the election and having enough airtime to get people to recognize the candidate. That was one of the problems with Ron Paul, he was big on the internet but it stopped there.

It was the electoral college that convinced the smaller states to join the United States, so that Pennsylvania, Virginia and Mass. would not be the only one's with a voice.
