It's back, and back for good. I am going to buy a new 360 at walmart and switch the , return it and get a second one. I need another 360 anyways.

I got my 360 back from MS and it sounds like they installed a fan in it or something. It makes a noice like a fan now. Never had that before. It also stays cooler, longer.

My Xbox 360 is first gen, I got it like a month after it came out, its still running strong with no fan mods or anything. The only problems I have are sometimes the disc drive wont open (it gets stuck for some reason) and I have to tap the case with my hand to un-catch it and sometimes it doesnt recognize the game, but I think thats mainly because the lense is dirty on the reader.

I was just thinking last night how it's been close to 4 years since the 360 came out... doesn't feel that long. That said, mine made it ~2.5 years before it RROD'd but has worked fine ever since.
