Why would an atheist need or want a blessing?
Sorry Chimp you or anyone else has my blessing to be an atheist go for it.I just find atheists discussing their beliefs banal and boring.Give me a good snake handeler any day.

Exactly. The only thing that ties athiests together in any sort of way is there lack of belief.
Sure, I'll take a blessing. Just because I don't believe in a God or anything, doesn't mean I can't see the worldview that believers are using.
For the same reason, I don't like when believers tell me to "go to ", because even though I don't believe in it, I know what they're saying really amounts to "F*** off".

In oakland Ca. over 90% of blacks voted for Obama, In the same election over 70% of blacks voted to keep marriage between a man and a woman.
Ya'll better realize it's not just the born agains,bible thumpers voting for this stuff.

How many Czars are there? Anyone know? Can I be the NBA Czar? I could veto trades like Gasol/Kwame and keep the league fair etc.
Obama has about 32 or 33 by last count; Bush had 35. And many presidents before these two had czars, but nowhere near as many. It's covered in another thread.
Why would it not be right?
My problem ain't so much with the number of czars (tho I believe there could be problems depending on how much power they end up wielding with their appointer)...but, with their overall belief's and how that corresponds to the belief's of the guy who appoints them.
oh, and btw...I'm an atheist, who goes to church twice a week and plays in the praise band.
