Again, if we get the Olympics in Chicago, who will get credit? Those who spend hundreds, if not thousands of hours , or him?

Besides, as president, shouldn't he be addressing our real concerns?

I think the Olympics is a pretty big deal. I think he can push this and address real concerns. It's not like he's spending his presidency on vacation golfing and clearing brush.

It is cronyism. I don't mind Obama trying to get the Olympics in US, but thats not the case.
1. He is going for his political hacks in the CHi
2. He couldn't answer certain questions from the media( the softball throwing MSM) because he doesn't have time for the little stuff.

Yes, it would be great for Chicago to host the 2016 Summer Games, but I have a problem with the Obama's personally going overseas to sell the idea. One of which is that if we get the games here in the USA again, he will get credit for it rather than the people who have devoted countless hours on the matter. I doubt he will make a big difference, short of ,making political promises. I have a problem with him stealing the limelight.

Any thoughts?
