Does this mean that the Spurs will trade Blair for nothing?
I think it means Blair and the new additions are going to make it easier for the Spurs to beat the Hornets IMHO.

Fact is, Blair will really help the Spurs this year and we are legitimate contenders with the new batch of players we have. I'm sorry about Yao, but you guys aren't going anywhere this year.
I never said that Blair wasn't talented. The kid played an incredible game for his first real action, but saying he's better than Scola is just silly. The kid is going to be a real contributor this year, but he's not the next big thing. I was excited about how Chase Budinger played, but I wouldn't say anything like he's better than McGrady. As far as my Rockets go I see no reason why we aren't going anywhere. I know we will make the playoffs, and let's see what happens after that.

I definitely would not say he is better than Scola either. Just saying Scola was Blair's last night

Seriously, though, good luck throughout the season and I really do feel bad for you guys regarding Yao. He was really looking great during the playoffs last year.

umm sorry to disagree with all you re s out therre but scola was doubling blair, and yes of course scola is better than blair right now, hes 29 kinda in his prime, acutally scola had 13pts and 2 rebounds!! you guys need to get off his nuts, you know who was guarding him last night? jones!!!! let me tell you what blair had hisFIRST PRESEASON GAME !!! WITH JUST 3 MIN MORE OF PLAYING TIME!!!1STL 2AST 16PTS 19 IN REBOUNDS! if you were there you would of seen scola slapping the out of blair everytime he got the ball, scola wasnt getting doubled, blair was!!! i would say blair had a better ggame wouldnt you????

After watching Scola dominate the 2nd round versus the Lakers, I can confidently say Scola >>>> Blair.

Scola was one of the primary reasons the series went 6 games.

    Blair > Mahinmi?

dont even get me started on mahinmi he is not going to make the team and if he does i would really be suprised. this guy, just cant play basketball he really is too weak, but even if he were stronger he doesnt have any any bbiq it was sad to see!all the fans noticed how terrible this guy was, if he and the opposing team grabbed the ball at the same time the opposing team would just rip it out of his hands, thats how frail this guy is. it happend a few times last night, he also got blocked by like three different guys, one being a sg!!!

Not even close son. The rebounding was nice, but Scola's defense and offensive game is much better than Blair's.
Spot on. Blair has much to learn from an offensive and defensive standpoint before he could even be compared to Scola.

Scola has very good footwork, and has that veteran ability of knowing how to use his body to lean into defenders and keep them down on his shots.

The good nes is that DB will prosper under TD, Antonio, and Theo.
