I'm glad he's ending his career as a Spur. He'sjust a natural fit in terms of his game, his at ude, his character.. only wish we'd had him earlier.

i think that mcdyess was the most important acquisition this offseason because it means that bonner is not longer our starting center (i hope)

I will say that when I learned we signed McDyess I was probably more excited than when we got RJ.

RJ's signing had some positives and negatives (mostly positives), but Dice's is practically all positive.

you know guys like dice, and timmy are so humble and different from lets say kobe and kg, that when i see those teams winning and cursing their way up to the top i get furious, because those guys are selfish loudmouth rude guys with no respect, and i think more than anything karma, god or whatever you believe in comes around and rewards people who are like dice and timmy and manu, they play the game and dont talk neg about anyone. now we have timmy kobe and shaq going for their 5th ring, i hope karma or God rewards the good guys, because remember nice guys do finish last, look at d robinson, anyway in my eyes this is the true good versus evil year lol

I wouldn't look at career numbers with Dice because he is nowhere near the player he was with Denver. Sadly that knee injury destroyed what was a great basketball player and a promising career. It's been nice to seem him persevere and reinvent himself to still be a good player. That said he's still a good pickup for the spurs and I wish him a good season, just not against the Lakeshow.
Young Dice was a certifiable Amare-type monster. I would have never guess he would have been able to transform into the kind of steadying veteran presence he's become.

Hey Phila I once heard by an oldschool reporter that if Chamberlain had 20,000 women then West had 40,000.
Easily believable. We all know West screwed everyone in Memphis.
