Blair has risen to every occasion he's faced thus far. Preseason is all we have to judge by as of now and it's gone very well. I'd bet he'll again step up and have a very solid rookie season at the very least.....but I didn't think that crazy ass Brent Barry shot against Sacramento a few years back was going to bounce in so we'll all just have to wait a couple weeks.

So many Bonner haters. Bonner is a 3-point specialist guy to bring off the bench. He started last year, because the Spurs were thin at the 4/5 spots, not because because Bonner was a dominant big. He was never meant to start. Bonner's got plenty of heart, he hustles for loose balls, boards, etc... What Bonner does not possess is athleticism, which makes him a below to average defender. Bonner is what he is. He never was meant to be the Spurs savior at power forward.

Blair is a big game player. The bigger the stage the better he plays. When he was at Pitt he put up his best numbers in the biggest games. He gets after it and always plays with a chip on his shoulder. Don't be surprised if he goes right at the LA bigs.

I can understand all the blair raving. This team has not had A player with his grit in A while. Add all the additions and changes and we truly have hope this year as spur fans and like everybody else im glad to see A player with his mindset(Beastly) on the squad. No disrespect to Tim tony manu and rj( Dejuan is not on there level) but the one thing dejuan has over all them is the nature he plays with. The enforcer mentality and nobody on this team has it like him period.

It is starting to get annoying, but this is in no way like the love for Pops. The love there stemmed from hope. The love here stems from his potential and impatience.

wohooo!!!!!!! i love blair!!! "i want to scream it on top of a mountain, but i dont have a mountain i have spurs talk!!!" seriously if he plays good against the l.a bigs, and dominates the boards, prepare for some scarey man crushes
What is the over/under that Blair is the cause of this year's Andrew Bynum knee injury?

he needs to do his work early on defense and get that big body in position and keep the other bigs out of the paint.

if they get position on him down low and have any low post game at all, it's game over due to his height.

i like his energy though and i'd like to see him avg 8 boards a game at least as he settles into his role this season.

hopefully less than 40% of those off of his own up close misses.

Blair, Ratliff, and Dice are a uva lot better than what we've had next to TD in a long time though...thank God.
