It's pretty lame that I'm able to see just about all of the Rockets games on FSN but we can't get the same broadcast for the Spurs...
Me too. I've been able to watch the last two Rockets games but neither Spurs game.

    Pop taking night off
    By Jeff McDonald

LeBron James might be good to go for tonight's game. Gregg Popovich, meanwhile, is taking the night off.

In what has become somewhat of a preseason tradition, the Spurs head coach has opted to turn coaching duties over to his staff of assistants tonight against the Cavaliers.

Lead assistant Mike Budenholzer will coach the first half. Brett Brown will take the third quarter, and Don Newman the fourth.

    No Jefferson and...

    No Pop!

LeBron and Shaq expected to play.

Manu and Jeff seem to be the only Spurs scratches and Pop's allowing the staff to get some experience while he goes and gets tanked; all right, the last part isn't confirmed but I feel pretty confident.
I thought Pop would start playing some regular rotation

    WOAI not working

    Ya know, Pop..

He's going to use the last three preseason games to get a feel for a rotation and get the big boys prepped and prepared to start the season.

So, naturally, he takes the night off and sits both Manu and RJ.

Spurs make it pretty hard to be a remote fan! I have to admit I sometimes think of moving back to SA just to catch the games... Sucks not even having a radio stream.

Jeff McDonald: Shaq lingered a little too long in his pregame embrace with Timmy. It was uncomfortable.

Fin with a 3 and James immediately follows by getting to the line off the break; how in the is this lineup supposed to keep up with James; scratch that, James with the alley-oop.
