i've actually been thinking about this but did not mention it out of fear of retribution. blair's trade value is extremely high right now but i can't see who the spurs would really trade for. unless popovich desperately needs that elite wing defender, i think the team is fine as is. since portland missed out on millsap, i've been wondering about trades with portland for webster, outlaw, batum, or even fernandez but the spurs don't really need them this season. i can't really shake the feeling that the spurs will end up dealing blair for someone like battier though. if the perimeter defense on elite players don't hold up, i can see this actually happening.

man i remember when i saw him against the rockets, i even posted what i felt, its like when you see a good player and then you see that player come in and make those good players look average(great player) i saw it instantly and im sure the whole at&t center felt what i felt. everyone was just in awe of how quick,strong,mean,confident,and athletic he was!! scola was even freaked out, i had row 5 seats and i could hear scola complaining to the coach about blair, soon after i saw blair get his first nba double team, by scola and landry, and he was still out rebounding them!! what we have to understand is that hes not going all out right now, im sure because of pop, but when he goes full force it really is intense

I know it's only pre-season, but he's in the top 20 for total steals and he's #4 for steals/48 minutes. Bigs don't do that. Rookie bigs sure as don't do that.

If he gambles too much, going for steals, Pop will kick his ass back to college. But I think he's getting the steals for the same reasons he gets rebounds against taller guys.

We'll see... but a couple of extra steals every game would be huge for this team.

I doubt it(as long as Parker's still on the team). Still looking forward to watching Blair play though. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite NBA players.
