I thought Power Ranking is all about regular season and regular season only...
Now that, is ridiculous.
I thought Power Ranking is all about regular season and regular season only...
Please tell me!Do you think it is significant?
The Power Ranking is spot on, we're winning our 5th this season!!!
We're definitely the last of the top-tier, I have no problems with that..we have a lot more question marks than any of the top 4, although Boston would probably join us..
#1. LA..
#2. Orlando..
#3. Cleveland(coming into the season..I think they're going to be the worst of the 5 IMO)..
#4. Boston..
#5. SA..
Neither would I. I expect it will take time for this new lineup to gel. In the NBA, it's how you finish.
Wake me ini 2010 after the SB-that's when it gets interesting in the NBA.

When have the talking heads in sports ever given the spurs that much credit. All that matters is that we win. With the exception of Portland and the two games with Dallas our schedule doesn't seem that bad for the first month. I personally can't wait.

Sigh... despite the offseason upgrades, the Spurs are at best #5 and at worst #8.
Lakers
Magic
Celtics
Cavaliers
Blazers
Mavericks
Nuggets
-> Spurs
It's even highly likely that after the regular season, that this may be the ranking.
But on the other hand, I never expected the Spurs to win against Detroit. I never expected them to win their last championship (though I expected them to beat the Cavs handily). But that's the Spurs, I love watching how they take a very untalented group and build a championship team out of it. For the Spurs, the sum is greater than the parts.
We've got a lot of new faces in the team, it'll take a while for them to gel. Meanwhile we're going to take some hits in the process.
This is one of the strangest posts I have ever read.
