If you can't handle the swings stay away from the action.
wow talk about not being a true spurs fan....its going to take awhile to find the right rotations so CHILL!
Some of us need to chill a little. Last night was great but obviously an abberation right now. We are a work in progress and it will take some time to get it together. It will happen. Just not overnight. They will work it out.
It's all part of the SPAM principle. So let's watch the Spurs come together and march toward another.

you would think Spurs fans would be used to this by now. it's still the pre-season for Pop, folks.
dude ur stupid 4 bashing the team after 2 games. if ur a real fan u know, when did we really care about regular season huh?
Dammit, you beat me to it! No firstsies for me...
Totally agree. Typical Spur fan. How about you take your bi-polar drugs, throw back a 40-ouncs, and relax. I mean , it could be worse, we could all be rooting the Cavs.
I Love How after 1 Loss, The Fairweather Fans are already Talking ... The Spurs Always Start Off slow, Make The same Thread In January or February Then Maybe we can Talk.
I like that quote rite dere
Can't win them all if we lose one...![]()
Spurs Meltdown is like the litmus test for no0b posters.
Oh my GOD.
lol !!!
Spurs are winded, old, 'we went over the salary cap for this ?' etc etc..
My god. That's all I can say. My god.
chill, relax, take a seat and enjoy the rollercoaster..
We just got trolled, lol us.
Spurs#1 is a fake Spurs fan whose sole purpose is to piss off actual fans.
Second game of the season, first game they lose and u already want jump ship? You are not a true fan.
I'm not for a second "jumping off the bang wagon", so don't pin that label on me, but I'm also not wearing rose colored glasses. You have to concede (not you in particular, but the many in this thread echoing your sentiments) that there were some alarming signs in last night's performance, or lack thereof.
Did a lot of what we saw last night not resemble a lot of what we saw last year? It wasn't a lack of chemistry so much as it was an old, undersized, sluggish looking team devoid of any energy. You could sense they knew what to do and how to do it, but were physically incapable of following through on it.
The lineups Pop was running out there were ridiculous, as well as the amount of them. How many times did he yo-yo Jefferson in and out of there? As if he's incapable of playing more than fix-six consecutive minutes. There's experimenting and then there's flat out not letting your players get into a rhythm.
No other team that I can think of has two of their unquestioned five best best players coming off the bench. It makes no sense. Is anyone surprised that the team is starting games slow when they're starting a lineup that is mostly devoid of energy and athleticism? The bench looks good, on paper, but realistically there's not many teams that you can get away playing a combo guard with two shooting guards and two power forwards against. For all the talk about getting Duncan help, I haven't seen it. He's mostly the lone big man on the court when he's in and outside of him there isn't a single other big man capable of protecting the rim (so long as Ratliff is used sparingly).
I expect glimpses of what this team can become (such as against the Hornets) and glimpses of what this team is: a work in progress (such as against the Bulls) and realistically, that will probably continue throughout much of the regular season. But I didn't see last night as a chemistry issue so much as a potential indication that all of the major problems from last year have not been fixed.
Just one loss, calm down troll.
JUst get rid of Findog and trade RM/Bonner for a defensive swingman will put SPURS on top. If no, then at least play the young stars more and let them develop... Today NBA favour speedy and atheltic players. Pop & co need to really upgrade themselves
