For a guy with so much money, you would think he would get some laser treatment or hair transplant or something...
that's what i don't understand. one of my coworkers got the hair transplant procedure, and it cost him about 10 grand, but it absolutely worked. in our business (advertising), youth is prized, so it really was a career move.

i don't understand why manu hasn't done it, unless he's just against it.

Either he's comfortable with who he is, or doesn't want to have unnecessarry surgery (even so minor) while an athlete.

Or he's going to pull a Shatner as soon as he retires...

Manu Ginobili is a guy, a dude. If he loses all his hair no biggie, guys go bald, it happens. It's when ladies lose hair that should be talked about since it's less common. I don't get what the big deal is.

the only non-surgical options are minoxidil and finasteride. Finasteride may be the real deal, but I'm sure most athletes during their playing days would stay away from it because any drug that can cause erectile dysfunction is bound to make people paranoid about how it would affect athletic performance.

And if Rogaine worked worth a damn Karl Malone wouldn't have shaved his head after appearing in their doctored commercials.

As he gets smarter the brain draws more nutrients and deprives the hair.

I wonder if the bat got distracted looking at his bald spot...
I heard the bat saw Manu's nose and said "wow ... that is big"

Danny Ferry doesn't think this thread is funny.

    Karl Malone echos his sentiments.

I do wish he'd grow his hair out again circa 2005 ... if he can still do it.
he would look like a haggard bum now

I think he hasn't got a hair transplant procedure because it's unnecessary surgery, and people would notice when the spot is gone magically.

And isn't something like cosmetic/unnecessary surgery prohibited in his contract? I'd think they would have a clause in there about it.

I thought the short hair would sort of camouflage the bald spot.

I liked how Manu had the bald spot and didn't care what anybody else thought about it. I hope he shaved it off due to his own choice and not by anyone else's advice.

IMO, his hair was lookin great before he buzzed it.

no way, you can do whatever you want to yourself as far as cosmetic. hence piercings, tatoos, and even plastic surgery. and im pretty sure its an outpatient procedure that would not concern the spurs org. at all. too late now though he would have to do it in the summer

I doubt it's any different than getting a tattoo and these guys can get as many of those as they please..
