Well they didn't and they had to try something.
They would have won in 2007 if Donaghy and Stern didn't them.
Well they didn't and they had to try something.
I'd love to see this but the Lakers don't play those green es until the end of January.
I can't wish them that good of fortune.
Boston will remain undefeated for the longest
Will win the eastern conference for sure
didnt boston start out like this last year? and look where it got them
They also started off like this the year before, and look where that got them..
They did lose amare ^.
I don't think the Suns are very good. Sure, on any night when you have Nash/Amare you can beat any team, but I don't think a single team in the league is worried about them.
i in told you ers
I'm gonna just keep predicting the Suns are gonna lose, it seems to be working![]()
I care a lot more about the Suns being good than I do about being right. I'll gladly be proven wrong in this situation.
They're good enough to stay relevant and remain respectable, this season that's all I can realistically expect.
Out of the next 10 games, the most dangerous ones for Boston will be Utah or Orlando. I'm not worried about Phoenix, they'd need to be incredibly hot from the 3 pt line to beat the Cs. We play a lot of up-tempo teams though (Suns, Pacers, Warriors, 76ers, Hawks) and that means some trouble.
The Suns schedule is ridiculously difficult. They have little chance of being the last team undefeated. If they go 6-4 in the next 10 games it'd already be good for them.
If the Nuggets survive the Hawks and the Bucks, I can see them being the last team undefeated and starting with some ridiculous record, 18-2, or so. I think they'll drop at least one game in this trip, so my money is on the Cs.
So much for Denver losing, but at least the Suns kept the fun alive.
Watching the game right now, I'm awed at how much looser the team looks. As much as I liked Shaq it's pretty clear how much better the team chemistry is. Granted the player's main objective should be to win (not to "have fun"), it's not a good thing when someone's stomach turns driving to the game every night cause they hate being around a certain player. Peace Shaq, you did a great job making me forget what Steve Nash is capable of.
Hot damn, Suns pulled out a good win tonight. Orlando still can't ing beat Detroit. Denver bent Indiana over and raped them....but not nearly as bad as Boston raped Philly.
And then there were 3...
Didn't think the Suns were gonna win tonight. It had all the makings of one of those horrible letdown games where the Suns don't really seem to have their hearts in it.
...Then the Suns came alive in the 2nd half, and I remembered this isn't the '08-'09 team anymore. They did the same to the Clippers a week ago; made 'em think they had the game in hand and took it away in the 4th quarter. Haven't seen the Suns play with this kind of passion on both ends of the floor since 2007.
Annnnyway...
Phoenix (4-0) @ Orlando (3-1)
Denver (4-0) @ New Jersey (0-4)
Boston (5-0) @ Minnesota (1-3)
All three teams are on the road, and on the 2nd game of back-to-backs. The Suns obviously have the stiffest compe ion, but Orlando is also on the 2nd of a back-to-back. Could get interesting with both teams bombing away from outside the arc.
Orlando's going to be pissed after losing tonight to the Pistons.
But more importantly, Friday Nov 6 @ Boston then the Wizards on Sunday.
Brutal stretch.
I don't care that the Suns are in the Pacific Divison, I'm rooting for them to have fun at the Celtics expense.
The Suns have an absolutely awful stretch of games this month:
@Miami - W
@Orlando
@Boston
@Washington
@Philadelphia
New Orleans
@LA Lakers
Toronto
@Houston
@New Orleans
Detroit
Those are the next ten games, with the 2nd of back-to-backs bolded. Hopefully they get a good rhythm going on this road trip, or else they could end up on a massive losing streak.
What's scary is that December is even worse...
That's 11 Playoff/fringe Playoff teams in a row not to mention 8 roadies. Ouch.![]()
Needless to say, we need all the wins we can get in the early going.![]()
Even though SA is a lot easier for me to root for than Phoenix, i gotta admit they were guaranteed the le that year with the sacrificial lamb cavaliers coming out of the east
Two undefeated teams left. Boston should get their 7th W playing at home against the Suns, Don't see Denver winning against Miami

83%, 5-6, at the start of the 2nd. Disgusting. Now I'm a bit worried. Hopefully they'll get cold at some point.
