Never really got why people like this game, I don't really care for it at all.
I guess it boils down to the fact that it feels like an arcade version of a shooter, let's say as compared to something like COD, and honestly I don't care for it.
I played a map and got bored... I actually like the first one better after playing that map.
It was dull.

Ok i like the demo, i had fun, But the things i didnt like were the stupid assholes on the game. Like when i would go in a game there would be atleast one stupid betraying and killing us., Then when i vote for the player to get kicked no one else would vote lol. Other than that i dont really see a huge diffrence from the first l4d other than the new zombies and frying pans.
Yeah, I was the only one from my buddies who didn't care for the game. Never got into it, thought it was too fast and wacky. To each his own.
I actually like it for the fact its more arcade-y. I don't think its a bad thing to have a game that doesn't take itself too seriously. Its not like you can be realistic when depicting the zombie apocalypse.
I'm not much of a fan of COD, don't get me wrong its a great game, but its not my style. I'm much more drawn to this kind of shooter, fast-paced and full of zombies.
They are completely different games and they aim to accomplish different things.
CoD is a tactical shooter that trends more toward realism and twitch-shot accuracy.
L4D is a much more team-oriented game (although CoD is obviously very team based at higher skill levels) that is more about awareness and dealing with concerted attacks rather than roving around sniping other players from an entrenched position.

Pre-ordered on Steam and it's 15mins delayed so far. Almost forgot this is a release from Valve lol
Once again they can't get a midnight release right.
They found a last minute crashing bug so they won't let their paying customers access the game yet until they fix it.
The Steam launch was delayed an hour. Just played the first 2 campaigns and this game rocks. After 3am now time for mimis and somehow get up and work tomorrow.

i am in love with the game so far. really fun
will get it at best buy on black friday. 35 buck is tough to beat. at 60 its a horrible game 35 awesome
I forgot 360 games are $60 got for $45 on Steam overall this game is killer. Everything that L4D wasn't and L4D was kick ass.
I just played it and enjoyed the out of it... think i'll wait till it drops in price though.
Just got it and played through Dark Carnival, its ing sick. It more of the same, but a lot more thought went into the levels and there is a bit more challenge (I think).

What really annoys me is that you can't even zoom in on your weapon (use the sights).

Just got this from gamefly. I played the first one for about 2 weeks and sent it back, I'm pretty I'll do the same with part 2.

its terrible. dedicated host, local host, stranger, cousin hosting, doesn't matter
ya dedicated hosting is so ed up local works for me
but if you do local you can't play online which basically means online is broken
Im scared to buy this game. I got into the first L4d demo and was hooked. I played the L4D2 demo and thought it sucked. I dont know if the l4d2 demo just sucked but I will enjoy the game anyway because I enjoyed the first one so much or the demo sucked which means the game will suck. I dunno which.
