Why would we be some kind of rivals? They are more than 1500 miles away?
The Lakers are like 2000 miles away from the Spurs...doesn't keep us from being rivals.

And didn't you guys used to have rival forms of communism?

It seems like there would be natural rivalry there...

And coach Tomo Mahoric is one of the best Slovenian coach and he deserves to coach good team and in Slovenia we have only one or two good team(s), so I think it is better for him that he do his job alsewhere.
I'm not saying he's not good...it's an allegiance type thing...

Don't worry, Slovenia. Whottt still can't figure out why AJ decided not to wait to be head coach of the Spurs 10 years from now.

Whottt our bigest rivals are our neighbours Croatians and maybe Italians, but shurely (spelling?) not Lithuanians.

For those interested, Tomo Mahoric was in San Antonio sometime last year when he wasn't coaching and was learning from the Spur's coaches. If i'm not mistaken, i think Grande David actually knows him from the time he was there.

I was just about to ask you who your rivals are...

I don't see why the distance is such a big deal though...

Like Texas is far away from California and New York yet we trash talk each other...they think we are all a bunch of sunglass wearing cowboys that talk like John Wayne and that do nothing more than smoke marlboros and sit around in the desert admiring catcuses.

Admit it...you thought that about us too didn't you

And make no mistake about it...Argentina may be on the oppsite end of the world from us but we've had just about enough their crap in international basketball...it's on now baby.

Pop must have taught him the art of squandering a 20 point 2nd half lead while he was here.

I think it is becouse when we beat Croatians we can read(and understand) their newspapers and we can enjoy our victory against them even more when they cry and . It is just opposite with other nations, I don't understand about Lithuanian language and I don't travel there, so I can't make jokes on (of, with...?) them, wich is the sweetest think to do!

So from looking at the boxscores who do you guys think will win the MVP of this game?

You guys are more familiar with this league than we are...

Was Javtokas the key to the win?(it looks like Nesby had a good game too but Javtokas powered them to the big lead)..

Can you tell who had the most impact from the boxscore?

I notice Javtokas rank isn't as high as Nesby's or another guys...but he was still the dominat player of the first half...how much of a role with that ranking play in deciding the MVP?

Is this a pretty signifigant accomplishment for the Lithuanians and Javtokas?

Yeah I guess the language barrier would be a problem to having a good rivalry, I didn't think about that...the distance + the language barrier makes it difficult I guess.

Sorry but I can't help here becouse this is 2nd league and we (Slovenians) don't have any clubs in there so I am not familiar with clubs and players in this league except a few ones.
