ideally, i would like to see ginobili get a 2 year contract with the third year either unguaranteed or partially guaranteed. on the business side, i actually think he's only worth $7-9 million after this year because of injury risks and age and i hope he takes a little less so the spurs have more money to maneuver with. i think ginobili will have to transform his game and definitely slash less and shoot jumpshots more. if the spurs continue to stop caring about the luxury tax, then they can resign ginobili to whatever they want since the spurs will be over the cap anyways.
Trade him while he has value. His tank is pushing the red.
