Eh, I go to away for a while and someone dare impunes Tool's greatess? Please they we one of the only semi mainstream bands out there that don't dance to the tune of what a producer tells them to play. They are a thinking mans band and the Pink Floyd of our era.
A pox on you for your blasphemy against Tool give me five hail Maynards and slake this urge to smote you...![]()

Don't hate on me.![]()
"For the most part."
Word to the wise, on stage... keep your mouth shut and play.![]()
Well, that's kind of hard as a singer/songwriter. Unless your last name is Simpson.
I should clarify... don't preach between songs.
Or talk about how much "pussy" you're going to get after the show, as the band I saw Saturday did.
Some raport with the audience isn't a bad thing, but I know what you mean. I don't care how many nasty groupies they have.
Oh I know what you are saying I'm not big on the rock and roll stars who spout on stage anyways.
I like albums like that too, but Lateralus sounded forced and unimaginiative to me. I can make a 70 minute long song too, but that doesn't make it good.
I recommend The Mars Volta - I put their stuff above Lateralus, much more musical, much more creative, much more melodic.
I like the Mars Volta.
Such blasphemy!!Lateralus was far from forced and unimaginiative, it was a whole album and a great whole album it meshed, but eh each to their own I suppose.

Did Jon Brion produce the new Aimee Mann album?
