Writer, I've gotta tell ya, you have some of the worst insults ever. They're not funny, they're not even insulting. It's sad, really.

But the women at NIOSA are much better looking, better dressed, and more mature ( closer to my age ). I went to NIOSA last night and had a great time. Hope to go back on Friday!

it's for checking out the hotties, drinking overpriced beer, and then biting the bullet and eating overpriced God knows what kinda food while chilling out to music....it's a celebration! but yeah, it's gonna be crowded....

I work at Niosa for one day a year for about two hours, and that's more than enough. It's the only way I would go again. Our booth isn't in a crowded area, and people can't intrude on your space. Also, there is a lot of food/beer bartering between booths.
As for just going and being amongst the crowds, it's awful.
Thats why Ill be ther Friday when they open and stay till about 7.
usually everyon starts to show up around then, and Im WAYYYYYY to claustrophobic to be in large crowds. So, if you hae never been and would like to go, that is the best time to do it w/o large masses of humanity.

I hit oyster bake for the first time last Saturday, overall I would say I enjoyed it. We got there about 1pm and just set out some blankets on the soccer field. Early on it was easy to get beer, food take a whiz. Later in the day/evening, it started to get more crowded-so we took off around 7pm. That kind of timing worked out pretty good. I think you just have to go in with the assumption that everything is going to be overpriced, and I need to remember to bring a fold out chair next time!

For the record, if you have to tell other people that you "own", then you probably don't. In fact, I would venture to say that you fail.
I've never had a bearded clam or heard of one for that matter. But I love fried oysters. I've eaten them raw, but it's not something I just haaaaaaaaaaave to have.
this is good stuff though....wonder if any hotties like the one on left will be at niosa...
