Melmart. That's funny!
The fra-gi-le/Italian line is probably my favorite. The UPS guy once made a joke about a box I got being labeled "Perishable" so I cracked back that it was a good thing it didn't say "fra-gi-le" cus I don't know Italian. He didn't get it.
Love this movie. It's one of those that my Dad loved too, so I always miss him when I see it.
I've probably seen it at least 40 times.
Flick flailing about while his tongue is stuck to the pole is one of my favorite shots in the entire movie. Even better is the look on his face while he sits at his desk, tongue wrapped up, that look of pitiful agony makes me cackle maniacally every single time.

I was looking thru a mail-order catalog the other day, and they had Christmas lights that look like the Leg Lamp. Can you imagine hanging that string of lights up? Tacky, tacky, tacky - but so funny it would be worth it!
Oh - and they had a nightlight also!
You woulda laughed more if you'd seen it. We'd been semi-flirting for a few minutes, which surprised me since he obviously had other deliveries. But when I cracked that joke, there was complete silence and then he said "well, gotta go!" I guess I should have done the bend and snap instead.
