Hallelujah - a real fan is one who hasn't given up on his team in December. Thanks Nkdlunch!

For real - Spurs fans got to stop getting drawn into these debates with people who want your team to lose.
Anybody who tries to convince you that you should trade any of your three best players doesn't have your team's best interest in mind.
Yes, Manu's been hurt, but he's an asset when he plays. Conversely, Jefferson hasn't missed a game in two seasons but has no impact when he's in. How come you don't hear these geniuses talking about trading RJ? Because they're not trying to tell you how to make your team better -- only worse!
The team is feeling it's way just as it has every season since Pop's been in charge. In my mind, he's led them pretty well in that time, huh?

is it just me or is our Spurs D been superb? it's like night n day compared to last couple of years. the guys are fighting hard.

Pop said he knows our D can't be as good as 2000-2007 but I think it can get very very close. We need to be top3 defending team.

Seeing as how everyone in SPurs org is giving it's all I think they deserve us fans to be all in it for the whole season.

and at the fans quitting on this team in december

All in all so far it's all going as planned. Us fans(the few smart ones) knew there were gona be bumps on the road and the team was not gonna be beasting from day 1. But the best news is big 3 seem healthy. The team's improvement is clearly going forward rather than backwards. Pop is going for the marathon, not the race and that was obvious last night vs. Celts.

Short term goal for next couple of months? Improve defense, get within striking distance of SW division top and don't pay attention to the legions of re ed spurs fans.

My prediction? If big 3 stay healthy and either Mason or RJ turn the corner, watch out. If both RJ and Mason turn the corner, this team is gonna up. And I would not be surprised to see a big trade/pickup either. Why not? It's the "all in" season.

Mason, RJ, are you guys gonna show up for the team? Manu keep fighting.

Regardless props to the Spurs franchise for going all out for Duncan. Win or lose this season, Spurs and Duncan have nothing to be ashamed of.

looks like I was spot on. New state of the spurs coming shortly....

Every team has these questions. Can KG stay healthy? Gasol? Kobe? Shaq? etc.

I agree with your point however, if this team plays at 100% then the only thing that could prevent them from winning the le is health.

well a 100% Lakers would be a formidable foe. I don't see a guarantee of Spurs winning that series. But a series of both teams 100% would be EPIC.

    Then there are the Celtics.

not to mention a big trade could happen to any team.
