From an outsider looking in at only record, sure draw that conclusion. But you'd be wrong. In those 5 games, Evans was dealing with a groin and ankle injury for 1.5 of those. Mason, who's no longer in the NBA and May who has like 20 minutes compiled since those 5 game are no longer starting. So to use that small sample size from many experimentation by Westphal and try to extrapolate a conlusion is ridiculous. Evans and Martin played just fine together in terms of their dynamics on the court during the pre-season(I know not an indicator from statistical perspective). Martin and Evans is going to form a very good backcourt when healthy.
