I'll probably be watching this weekend.
For those who have read Wanted, do you like that or Kickass better?
I've got some Fables, Walking Dead and Chew to get through first...
Saw it today and it was hilarious. Reminded me of watchmen but a lot more funny. The violence was fine, nothing over the top tbh. Movies like the saw series with the gore are over the top but not this.

Glad to hear. Wanted was good the first two issues, but it went downhill pretty quick, and the end sucked.
There's not alot of gore but the violence absolutely was over the top. Especially considering it was a little girl killing everybody.
I don't particularly like Mark Millar, I thought wanted was dumb and the dialogue in this movie is pretty rough, but the director more than made up for his failings.
Hit-girl stole the show.

I realize that it's not at all possible, for a number of reasons, but I kind of want to be Hit Girl when I grow up.
Wanted was decent the movie was awful.
Kick-Ass was awesome the movie was great even though they changed the comic a bit, but the changes were changes I could live with.

Saw it last night. I thought it was pretty good; funny and the action sequences are badass. Definitely not a kids movie haha.
Probably my favorite part is right after Hit-girl is introduces and she is asking her dad for toys in the bowling alley and Nic Cage gets all distraught. She curses like a champ.
I only wish they showed the tes in every scene they teased us. Only right considering the fact that this really isn't a pg-13 movie anyway.

This movie was excellent. Entertaining throughout.
That and the "Okay s" gets me rolling every time. Hit-Girl is my hero.
Saw it last night, It was a great movie. It knew the style it was going for, had the right mix of comedy and seriousness.
Something sometimes not talked about in movies, but the music in the movie fit the scenes it was with. Sometimes you watch a movie and the song doesn't fit what is going on with the scene. Whoever did the soundtrack for Kick - Ass did a great job.
Oh and Nic Cage is back (of course he is doing that Sorcerers Apprentice movie which will be a huge fail) , haven't really liked anything from him since the 1st National Treasure.
I liked this movie more than Avatar (which I feel is very overrated, good movie, and I'm happy it took over anic for #1 at the box office, but those numbers don't mean everything in terms of quality). Kick Ass is up there with District 9 as one of my favorite movies in recent years.
Watched it this week and laughed my ass off once I got over the shock of what Hit Girl was doing.
Oh and I hate nick cage but I tolerated him in this movie.
