It could be 2-12 soon.
look who is in 6th
...I told him not to blow his load...I knew it wasnt going to last long...
I agree but I dont think much should be taken from the spurs loss to the Raptors, it was their 6th game in 9 days flying all over the country. I was suprised they did as well as they did considering their previous play before that stretch.
I hope they have their legs for the Lakers game! Win or lose, I want to at least have the Spurs compete in their first matchup of the year.
Yup!
THis again settles the argument which conference is stronger.
Non-issue
interesting.
All I know is that was a of a dunk by Howard last night...gotta give props to the former Rocket.

You're right, Raptors game was nothing to worry about...just one of those off games that happens after the Holidays.
The bigger concern is the team's road record and record versus +.500 teams; that's my reasoning for thinking the Spurs are going to have a rough January.
yea, that got me up off my seat lol
The game was a good game by both teams last night. Minus roy and bayless. Everyone stepped up especially webster miller, and howard. It was a 6 man rotation so it took a toll.. the clips played a great game and deserved the win. Hopefully we get lma back tonight and blake on Friday.
The road record has gotten better as of late, 6-7, it was much worse. I would however like to see a some wins against +.500 teams though.
Blazers definitely deserve props for staying afloat but this likely wont last like people have already said. A first round exit is probably as far as this team goes...I love Bayless' game and confidence/at ude though, has probably become my favorite non-Spurs player. What are his averages since he started getting major minutes?
Too much stock is put into that record against .500+ teams, especially considering the cir stances of some those games...Spurs had like 4 or 5 of these games early in the season where they were missing either Tony, Manu, Tim or a combination of two of them. After that they lost close games vs healthy Celtics, vs healthy Thuggets, @Utah, and @Phoenix...no shame in that especially considering the fact that the team was still fairly inconsistant during that time and not playing as well as they have been lately. Same with the road record, they started off like 0-5 or 0-6 if Im not mistaken, now theyre like 6-7. I'd put more stock into the Spurs record against .500+ teams from now forward this upcoming stretch should be a good measuring stick to see how the Spurs measure up against the other top teams.
Portland is going to lead the league next season in candidates for "come back player of the year". I mean that as a good thing.
