It isn't a reduction in service, they are adding the WB service. Most people have the 3 at a time plan, with streaming you can have 1000 or more out at a time...no reduction in service. I rarely watch new releases, last week i watched Terminator Salvation and 3:10 to Yuma, those were newest movies I've watched in a months. I usually get BBC shows or international/independent films
Yeah same here plus a my que is so backed up with movies ive been meaning to watch.
It actually does on some of the streams depending on your network connection. Is it full HD no of course not but its not bad looking. I do admit some are but I stream through the xbox so it comes out better than on my laptop.
Ahh they never came through HD here at work when I used to have Netflix. I just got pissed I went from paying $20 a month for three disks + Blu to $28 in 6 months. I'm sure it's risen since then too. I could just never get new Blu releases for weeks, regardless of when I queued them.
Yeah I think the bandwith is limited here at work too cause I have the problem but at home through my xbox if its avail as HD it comes in nice and rarely lags. Yeah im paying for 2 disks with blu, Its like 20 bucks or something like that. I have gotten a lot of new releases the very next day or that week without a problem on blu. When you download, do you get really good HD quality? I also download stuff not on netflix and stream through my xbox from my laptop but those are usually tv shows and such.
I get 720P rips, they look awesome. I have a 25" DVI to HDMI cable going to my TV, just drag VLC onto that desktop and use my iPhone VLC remote to control it. Works perfectly.
yeah I have 48 movies in mine and only 4 of them are new releases and none of them are WB
Nice, can you get new releases right away?
I have a whole bunch too, I prob will catch up on some movies this weekend. Any recommendations?
have you ever seen Before the Devil Knows Your Dead? it's a good one
Don't care too much about the extra 28 days. I never rent the newest movies.
Yes they do. At least on my PS3 they do. Some movies, they have the HD logo on them.
its in my que but havent seen it, ill check it out.
Have you seen 500 days of summer?
it's good, other than that I don't have any recent movies in my queue- I'm watching old episodes of The Wire and 24
no I just added it though so I'll check it out
there's a whole section of HD streams they just added but only tried taxi driver and there's no audio
up to two weeks before DVD/Blu release
Blockbuster has REALLY messed around with their shipping patterns the last month. Once upon a time, you could return a movie to the store (one of two reasons I stick with them) by noon and they'd ship the next movie to you next day. The last few weeks, they've been taking 2-3 days just to ship a movie after returning to the store.
The other reason I stick with them is no increased rates for blu-ray.
