Finley must be ready to return. Malik was only called back to the Spurs when Finley got hurt.
Would've been nice to have seen him get some burn during the Finley absence. Basically, he got called up for nothing, but roster insurance.

You people need to wake up. There are 5.5 games between 2nd place and 11th place in the WC. Pop can't go playing his IR guys and risking dropping a game just to satisfy the jones of some message board clowns who didn't seen him in training camp the way the coaching staff did.

Hairston did not shoot too well last night, 9-22 for 28 pts. He got 38 minutes of burn, which is good, but they lost. His arrival probably affected the team chemistry a bit.
Thats the stats, but I am curious if anyone saw the game?

The big knock on Hairston at the end of last year that his jumper wasn't developing IIRC.

9-22 not the best of starts.

IMO this summer coming up will be huge for Malik. If his summer league and training camp are not positively gotta keep him on the roster and give him minutes, IMO he's gone.

He basically took shots from Gee and Jerrells, which was fine since they weren't playing well at all. They'll need some time to learn to work together and stay out of each other's way as they all have pretty similar scoring styles. Cecil Brown actually did a good job defending Hairston, especially in crunch time.
