Nobody can really justify that TD... I wouldn't go as far as to call it classless but it simply was not necessary.

But as a Vikings fan of 1 year, I dont really care

edit: I think going for a TD though is more graceful then sending out the FG unit.
How many bandwagons have you hitched your ass on to this year, Ghazi?

Hey cowgirl fans! Why didn't your team just forfeit with 2 minutes left in the game?

Maybe the refs or Roger Goodell could have stepped in and just stopped the game since you guys considered it finished already and there was no more point in playing out the last two minutes.

The last I checked, an NFL game lasts 60 minutes.
"We don’t care what Keith Brooking says," Williams said. "He was about to get his ass whupped on our sideline over there. It don’t matter. Nobody said anything when they blew out the Eagles [the past two weeks]. It’s the playoffs. It ain’t no regular-season game. If you lose, you go home. We take no pity on them. Do they expect us to? I don’t care about no Brooking. He can say whatever he wants to say."

Pat Williams concerning Cowboys LB Keith Brooking, who may or may not still be whining about Minnesota's last touchdown.

    Good point, stretch.

Keith Brooking should get his butthurt checked. I wished him and Jared Allen would've had that hillbilly throwdown.

You're absolutely right. You play to win the game. But Minnesota already had the game won, up by 24 with less than two minutes left. There's a bunch of other things that the Vikings could have done in that situation that wouldn't have seemed like running up the score, but they went with the worst, most blatant, rub-it-in option.

The kinds of fans that are ok with this, defending this, and even worse, encouraging this kind of stuff, I feel sorry for. Because these are the types of people that seem to genuinely hate the opponent and don't see them as a respectful adversary, but an enemy that needs to be punished for "daring to play against our team." And I don't like being around those kinds of fans because they're no fun to be around whether their team wins or loses.

I'm for passion, but not for ugliness. I don't wish ill will upon Brett Favre or any opponent of my teams (I'm not a Cowboys fan) because I think it cheats the game and the fans when the best players aren't on the field. I can appreciate when an opponent does something incredible because of the sportsmanship I exhibit toward my opponent's fans. And as a result, it makes every sports experience a positive one... except when something like this happens.

Brooking and his Atlanta teammates were celebrating after the '99 NFC Championship game with the fans that had made the trip to see them. I wish teams that won championships on the road would do that more because that's all about thanking the fans that made the trip.

dude you need to get real. you make it seem like the vikings are the only team that supposedly has run up the score. so we understand you think it's running up the score. so what? there alot of people that hate the cowgirls. so what?! like i said if the vikings would have kicked the two field goals the score would of been 33-3. what's the difference? i mean if you don't like it change the channel you don't have to watch. other teams have done it. we get that you're all for sportsmanship but it doesn't always happen that way. like i said don't like it don't watch it go watch some other sport.

So who thought it was classless a couple years ago when Sasha Vuja- drained a last second 3 ball in a series clinching playoff game that had already been decided when he could have just let the clock run out???

Its the same very simple concept here. Yes its clasless to call a play with a route going into the endzone in a game that has been well decided. Its a move. No the cowboys wouldnt stop that play because of the fact its 4th and 3 and youre going to call a run stopping play definsively in that same situation every time. Its cute how the defense of some of you is "you dont like it? stop it..." if football was that simple, everyone in the league would make minimum wage.

Im not ing about what the vikings did, but dont say its not a chep shot and its not disrespectful to your opponent. It is and thats the bottome line.
