Haha Blair did look like a "Beast" on that play. Boozer just welcomed Dejuan Blair to the league.
It wasn't that he didn't want to jump, it's just that he didn't have a chance. Getting balls on your chin is never a good thing.![]()
You know a rookie is good when he gets a thread all to himself for getting dunked on.
I was at the shoot-around courtside before the game and Booze is a monster- dude is huge... I never realized the Spurs have 2 tall white dudes that act as defensive practice dummies for the players warming up 2 hours before the game??? dudes were easily 6'10" and they would run, jump and contest shots put up by Timmy, Hill and Ian... I wonder what they make $$???? pretty cool gig... one of them came and seemed to touch Tim too much on a double team on the block and Tim gave him the stink-eye for a second...![]()
I think Boozer pushed his face with the right hand. Nasty ing facial. I think Blair will challenge dunks from now on. The dude learns at an amazing rate.
lol dirk
Funny how many people fail to notice that he pushes down on the defender with his off hand while doing that dunk.
I don't understand why people go so crazy over dunks where the defender was trying to draw a charge. I understand why you would give credit to the offensive player for dunking, but why should the defender be especially embarrassed other than the fact that he didn't get the charge called? There was no attempt to block the shot, so I don't get where the humiliation comes into play.
"Oooohhhhh, he was inside the restricted area AND still shuffling his feet!!! DAAAAMMMNNN!!"
He's has a few dunks like that with the left hand. One on Haslem, one on Arenas, and one on Garnett.
