There is no way the Spurs can get Amare. These trades were discussed last season, last off-season, and this season, draft day etc. At first, you will laugh at this trade, but the fans would turn on the Suns and their front office if they cannot get a lot of young talent for Amare if they can't sign him come 2010 FA. Considering this is what the Suns asked for, there is no way the Spurs can get Amare, unless Kerr is a real dumbass.

We'd probably have to give up Hill and Jefferson to get him plus the rights to Splitter. It would essentially be trading the future at a chance for now. It would be an awful move.
