We currently run a business. We have an accountant on hand and always keep tight books. Never had any issues with taxes or how we do things. We're not a start up just an expansion that will allow me to leave my current full time job.

With your at ude toward your co-workers, and people in general, I'm betting you will have a ball with real consumers who expect 100%, especially when carpet cleaners are a dime a dozen.

I think this is a fair assumption to make. However I've never had an issue with any of our current customers. There's a big difference in with dealing with a customer that I can proactively make a difference for and an irate customer that is pissed about finance, service, parts or any number of things that I can't control.

I've done restoration and carpet cleaning, repair and installs for a good decade and its night and day with the stress involved with lot sales and how people treat you.

Most people walk on the lot already hating you. Already looking for a fight. Going in to a home for tile and grout care is different in the regard that the customer wants you there. You're invited.

I never had this kind of hate before doing lot sales and finance. It ruins you on the general public.

On that same note its more my employer and my co-workers than it is the customers. As much as I hate people I literally can't make these people happy if my employer isn't willing to give me the tools to help people.

I got yelled out just this morning because my customer was told by our service department back last Feb. that their TV mount and hot water heater part would be in any day now. A year later and nothing. They called countless times looking for resolution and we did nothing for them. Who gets yelled at? The guy who sold them on buying the trailer of course.

That's the kind of I want to get away from.
