    Keep an eye out at WOOT.com and Deals2buy.com and DealNews.com and Hot-Deals.org
    Those 4 aggregator web sites are your best bet to finding a great deal...

    I was looking at mobo/proc combos at newegg, and they are mostly all mini itx with atom processors.

    I guess we would want a regular size atx mobo, probably amd, that takes ddr3 ram.

    Looks like $600 or so would put together a pretty decent machine.

    Look again, they have almost 100 AMD ATX boards, and 182 Intel ATX boards.

    How much are you saving by going AMD?

    a while back you could save by going amd, but maybe now it's different. I'm not going anyway yet... still undecided.

    what's a mobo/proc recommendation for a mid-level gaming rig? Also need a video card recommend - $150 or less. nV 250, 9600, etc.
