Not as of righrt now, the Dome will need to be around until 2007 when the Mens final 4 is hosted there.
But after that unless there is an NFL team in the Dome, tear the done, imo.
Thompson brothers yesterday were talking about an article in the SA Biz Journal that has Red McCombs saying that Garza didn't seem interested at all at discussions of bringing an NFL team to SA, but said Garza was VERY interested and solicited Red's help in bringing an MLS team to SA.

SA Biz journal is a fluff piece of rag that is just a tool for self promoters...any time a customer of mine is featured in that garbage paper I immediately put them on internal credit watch and usually switch their account to COD...What they do is not journalism...it's just an infomercial with paid advertising masquerading as business news.
If you think the county bent over for the Spurs and the city for the MLS, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Root for the Cowboys or Texans and pray our small market doesn't pursue an NFL team. Maybe some kind of regional team located in a spot between Austin and SA like Foxboro is for the Pats might work. Anything else is asking for trouble.

I have an even better idea! It's called a Jump-to-Conclusions Mat. You see, it would be this mat that you would put on the floor and it would have different "conclusions" written on it that you could "jump" to.
It is horrible, this idea.
