Lakers can beat Spurs w/o Kobe. Sorry....I love the Spurs but they are too inconsistent against the upper echelon to even think this will be a victory.

Okay, then -- I think it's a victory.![]()
i hope kobe plays... we have no hope otherwise. Our only chance is kobe goes 10-30 or something taking away shots from bynum on blair, or gasol on blair. If kobe plays and goes 10-14 or such, i dont think many teams have a lot of hope anyways.
I'll take that but knowing these Spurs, wouldn't count on it!![]()
I think the Spurs, whether Bryant and/or Bynum play or not, will win this game. Strangely, I actually feel more confident in the Spurs beating the Lakers (at least regular season) than I do the Nuggets, Mavs, even Jazz and Trail Blazers, this season. At least against the Lakers I know they'll be extremely focused and the top players will play virtually as much as it takes to win the game.
I think the Spurs (maybe this has changed now), but coming into this season, still viewed those other four teams I mentioned as beneath them, as in "if we show up and play fairly well, we'll probably win", but I think they viewed the Lakers like "we need to show up, be focused for 48 minutes and play extremely well to have a chance to win".
Just come out and play hard... it's all I ask... if we win, we win, if we don't, I don't want to see people regretting stuff later... I think if we play hard enough and bring intensity we can beat anybody...
What did I say! We do the same every game. I cut the game off after halftime. We suck.
They can beat the Lakers with Kobe, but not with Gasol due to midget ball.
I also called this too, but I'm sure we all knew this was coming. Lmao
