I'm a girl. I get the shoe thing. I have three pairs of heels that, on sale and at a huge discount, were over $500 each. But... spending $160 on a pair of shoes you have no intention of wearing? Even I think that's a little silly.

bought them because of how much they meant to me when I was little. I remember saving all my birthday money and allowance for those things. So I bought them because of nostalgia because they are the exact same shoes I would wash everyday after school. I know it's dumb I'll never wear them, but when I'm older Ill have a pair of the shoes I loved when I was a kid.

I'm with you. I like shoes as gay as that sounds, not so much sneakers but dress shoes. I bought a pair of Ferragamo newlands this summer for $400 on sale this summer. It's all in what you like. I spend my extra money on clothes. I'm well aware of how gay that makes me look

payed 159.99 for 2 of them and the other pair was 179.99 plus i have the new kobe's which were 179.99 just for basketball, plus about 25 other pairs that are still in great shape

Yea, I had every pair of Jordans when I was growing up... I wasn't spoiled by any means, but that was my thing (no kobe), I was willing to give up other things to get those.

It's my dad's fault, my dad had me in J's from birth... I had those little baby bootie J's... soooo fresh.

So I buy the retros whenever I can get 'em, cause I'm tryin to do the same thing and have all the ones I loved so much as a kid. I need those 6's!

Cost a lot, and is stupid to most people... but they mean a lot to me.

Dude that's like a half ounce of some dank! The only time I ever bought expensive shoes was when I was a kid and I thought having Answer VI's would make me cool. Nowadays I find a nice black comfortable skating shoe without too many designs or logos on it and pay like 20-30 dollars for extreme comfort.
