That really sucks. Captain Phil seemed like a great guy, though he was asking for it with his lifestyle.

I'm hoping they keep the Cornelia Marie for future seasons... perhaps his older son will get to captain it.

The younger son has been on the boat longer. Hopefully, he would get the boat. Maybe they could work it like the Time Bandit, where one brother captains for opilio crab season and the other brother captains for king crab season.

From what I read he had the stroke while filming, i am not sure if or how they will work this into the show

but if get to the right place at the right time with a good catch, you can call it a season...

i dunno how much these boats costs, but when i was in vietnam, a fishing trawler like that made out of wood only costs about $100k, most families would take out govt loans, spend like 3-4 months out at sea, if you strike a good catch you can pay like half of that loan back and just a few more trips like that and ur loan is fully paid....

my brother father in law does mud crabbing, dont think he owns a large boat but a fishing PP license sets him back alot of money....plenty of money to be made he tells me...

Some of Jonathan's crew told him that Keith was offering higher salaries if they left the Time Bandit and joined the Wizard. Jonathan confronted Keith, they argued a bit, and Jonathan pushed Keith to the ground.
