**FB/LB Devon Hocutt of Killeen Ellison was not at Junior Day and has rescheduled for 2/27.
**WR Philip Payne (lack of playing time) and FB Antwan Cobb (injuries) have both left the football team.
**OL Marcus Hutchins of DeSoto was offered by the Texas staff today but did not commit because he's stated he'd like to take more time with his recruitment. USC has also offered him recently.

Best corner in the state (even though Sheroid Evans might be the best overall defensive back). I love this kid. Orangebloods has been reporting that he's told the Texas coaching staff that he wants a list of everyone that they're targeting (especially on the defensive side of the ball) so that he can assist in the recruiting process. They say he's -bent on making sure the best possible class is signed in 2011.

OL Sedrick Flowers of Galena Park North Shore was offered today but he decided to visit LSU, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State before making a decision. Texas should hear from him in a few weeks and I think they're still in great shape with him.

Scratch this. Marcus Hutchins called the coaching staff a little while ago and committed to the Horns. I assume the Texas staff projects him as an interior lineman.

LB Trevon Randle of League City Clear Springs didn't make it in to Austin after all. It appears as if he's rescheduled for the second Junior Day on 2/27.
So much for Malcolm Brown wantng to be in to commit first.
Stoops is going to have to start upping the payscale for norman players to 40-50K a year
his venables is going to get exposed without across-the-board 5 star talent on his defense

Every year, TU will get the best athletes from the best recruiting pool/state in the United States
Brandon Williams commits to Baylor, Texas strikes out on the first RB recruit hopefully they can land one/hopefully three of the remaining Texas RB studs.

Orangebloods is reporting that RB Brandon Williams is still a possibility for UT's second Junior Day in two weeks. Needless to say everyone is shocked at the fact that he committed Baylor (of all places) without even visitng his dream school first (Texas). I'll keep you posted on what's being reported, but his verbal to Baylor is definitely not concrete.

Blue chip safety Avery Walls out of McDonough, Georgia will be flying into Austin tomorrow for an unofficial visit. I assume he will sit down with Mack and Muschamp (Georgia connection) and receive an offer. He's headed to the OU Junior Day this Saturday. If you haven't seen film on this guy, do yourself a favor and check it out. I can only imagine what this kid would look like under the tutelage of Muschamp.
