GOP Stimulus Hypocrisy

This segment ties in with the Paul Krugman article (2/8/10), in which he says the Republican Party is descending into nihilism, something that had occurred to me just recently as well. It's a complete nullification of government, making it such that nothing in this country can get done, despite the fact we're in dire straights. They're disregarding the normal senate protocols, traditions, and just plain decency to keep the country hot tied and ungovernable.

When Dems are the party of no, they're just being patriotic. When Republicans say no to the majority platform, they're trying to nullify the government, disregard protocol and tradition, etc.

So going from 10.2 to 9.8 unemployment proves the stimulus isn't working?

Obama said if they passed the stimulus bill that the unemployment would peak at 8%.

As Rachel and others show in 10s of examples, the Repugs, ALL voting against EVERYTING from Magic Negro, are bloody happy to have the stimulus funds flowing to their voters so they can typically dishonestly step in and try to grab some of the stimulus limelight.

The stimulus was too small.

A larger or a second stimulus was politically impossible totally because the Repugs wanted Magic Negro to fail, no matter how much pain last for how long for the USA that failure.

Repugs NEED and WANT unemployment at 10% and will do anything to keep it there for the 2010 election, while blaming it all on Magic Negro. Repugs don't give a flying about the USA, only about winning elections.
